About the House – April

• Spouting. Check the spouting and clean it out before the autumn rains come to stop it overflowing
• Drains. Keep drains clear for storm water drainage.
• Windows. Check that the windows are all fitting properly. If aluminium windows check the rubber seals are in correctly.
• Prune back trees and shrubs that may be growing beside the house and touch the roofline. This is how rats and mice get into your ceiling.
