Warbirds is a tribute to the men and women who fought in the two World wars and the aeroplane technology that was developed in those conflicts by both sides.
In New Zealand the 25 April is ANZAC Day (Australian and New Zealand Army Corps) to remember those who died in conflicts round the world.
The Airshow was a non stop 6 hour show. These are some photographic images of the event.
Hope you enjoyed these.
Makes New Zealand worth a visit in 2012

What a wonderful show and a wonderful way to pay remembrance. I have been to a few airshows and they are always fun to watch. I cannot help myself from ducking down once in a while when they whiz by LOL! Maybe I am afraid someone will fall out of those old biplanes rolling over and fall on me. LOL!
I would want more than a belt.
Nice pics and great post. Airshows seem to be a worldwide way of honoring our veterans. jim
